Monza, the temple of speed
The Italian Grand Prix is a Formula One race that is part of the annual FIA Formula One World Championship. It is held at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Monza. The Italian Grand Prix is one of the longest running events on the Formula One calendar. The Italian and British Grand Prix are the only Formula One World Championship Grand Prix staged continuously since the championship was introduced in 1950. Every Formula One Italian Grand Prix since 1950 has been held at Monza except in 1980, when it was held at Imola.
